Marine Electrician
Description:
Marine Electricians at Team Electric are responsible for the installation, testing, and repair of marine cables and equipment, as well as the installation and connection of lighting, electrical power, troubleshooting, and repair of shipboard and facilities electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits using testing devices.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and correct problems using test equipment and hand tools.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand or power tools.
- Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment.
Skills/Technical Knowledge:
- Time management skills.
- Clear and thorough communication abilities.
- Problem-solving and analysis skills.
- Positive attitude; must be a team player.
Education, Training & Experience:
- Shipyard/Industrial Experience preferred.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for overtime, weekends and varying shifts.
