Job Description:
We are seeking a Welding Supervisor with shipbuilding experience to join our team at Remontowa Shipyard in Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing welding operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout fabrication projects. Your role will involve assisting in project planning, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of welding projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and weld steel components as required.
- Assemble and install steel structures both in the workshop and on-site.
- Ensure all welding work complies with industry standards and project specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welding Supervisor, with a strong focus on shipbuilding.
- Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication techniques.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
