About the Role
As an Assistant Estimator at Team Electric, you will support our Refit team by contributing to the preparation of accurate and timely project estimates. Your responsibilities will include gathering data from technical documents and spreadsheets, assisting with calculations, managing project files, and supporting overall estimate development.
Additional role information
An initial 3-month onboarding period will take place on-site in Naantali-Finland, with accommodation provided.
A background in the maritime industry is considered highly meritorious, given the nature of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and organize information on materials, labor, and project schedules
- Assist in preparing project estimates, bid proposals, and related documentation
- Perform cost and time estimations in Excel
- Support communication between estimators, project managers, and vendors
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Structure, develop, and maintain a documentation database for future reference and use
- Provide general administrative support to the estimating function
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, particularly in electrical system upgrades and energy efficiency
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with:
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with calculations and structured data
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with technical documentation and cost estimation processes
- Prior experience in a support or administrative role, preferably in a technical environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe as part of the role
