Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical installation works on-site. The role ensures that tasks are carried out efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating closely with supervisors, workers, and the Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure updated drawings are available in the work area and remove outdated versions.
- Monitor scheduled inspections and project milestones; review schedules at least weekly.
- Communicate daily with area supervisors regarding team installation issues.
- Request materials from the area supervisor as needed.
- Conduct testing and inspections of the area; complete and submit signed report sheets.
- Review updated drawings and raise potential extra works to the area supervisor.
- Assign tasks and manage workers’ daily activities, including scheduling breaks and work hours, minimizing lost time.
- Complete and submit progress reports in coordination with the supervisor weekly.
- Participate in resource planning with the Senior Supervisor and area supervisor, tracking hours, dates, personnel, and assigned areas; update as needed based on workload fluctuations.
- Raise and discuss potential extra works or additional work requests.
- Attend monthly project dashboard meetings with the Project Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman in maritime settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation standards, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English
